Return the Flask to the Genie for 15,000 XP and the Sword of Chaos +2 (Sarevok's old sword from the original Baldur's Gate though it lost much of its power when he fell).
He doesn't know where it is but just go back to Dungeon Level 1 and find the Dryads at 21 they will gladly give you the Flask. You can then bring in your party for the kills. A cheesy strategy is to cast a Summons spell on the platform from below the stairs in order to summon some cannon fodder which will take the initial attacks.
